Problem
Many students struggle with managing competing academic, personal, and professional responsibilities due to a lack of clear, customizable tools that show both short-term tasks and long-term progress. Existing productivity tools often fail to connect daily actions with broader goals, making it difficult for students to recognize patterns in productivity and areas for improvement.
Solution
To address this, I developed a flexible Excel-based system that visually connects tasks, habits, and goals across multiple time scales. The to-do list features a dynamic progress donut that updates as tasks are completed, providing immediate feedback on weekly productivity. The monthly habit tracker and six-month goals sheet include progress graphs that allow users to analyze trends over time, identify productive and unproductive periods, and adjust routines for the next phase.
This project involves designing a custom productivity and habits tracker tailored for university students and recent graduates, with a focus on improving time management during critical academic and professional years. Built as a multi-tab Excel spreadsheet, the tool is intended to support students from high school through college and beyond by encouraging structure, reflection, and consistency. The tracker includes three core tabs: a to-do list with daily and weekly overviews, a monthly habit tracker for building routines, and a six-month goals sheet that allows users to track progress over a 52-week span and reflect on growth over time.
